Interviews

Take the initiative to interview someone. It can be anyone that you think might be of interest to other people.
For example... You could interview an artist. Find out how they became an artist, how much schooling they had, what subjects really help them in their work, if they still take classes.

Your Postman... coach, teacher, restaurant owner, nurse, fireman, be creative and find out as much as you can about them...

A great article would be on someone who served in World War 2. With our aging population, the number of survivors is dwindling. Ask lots of questions, write down or record the interview.

Remember... You can submit a video. It must be original and edited to be 5 minutes or LESS...

15:19:29 Sep 25 2016
Fernando Moreno,  started working as an oil field worker for Nabors  Drilling Co.  at the age of 17, his first position was floors,  from there he worked himself up to being a derrick hand where he held the position for 15 years , from there he was then moved up to driller where he held the position for 2 years.  He enjoyed his job so much and his bosses where so satisfied with his dedication and accomplishments that it was then, that he got offered the position of being a toolpusher. He got offered more pay and more benefits along with more responsibilities.  Mr.  Moreno knew he was the right person for this job and decided to take it, the only dislike he had was having to be away from his family for months at a time.  Mr.  Moreno states that his employees where hard workers and they always helped each other out in whatever it took to accomplish a satisfactory job.  Mr.  Moreno worked in the oil field for a total of  28 years , in 2010 he suffered a terrible car accident  which left him disabled and unable to no longer work,  he has from then spent time with his family , gone fishing when he can and just  trying to live life day by day.

Constructor
Hector is the owner of his construction job. He works very well, and he is very responsible. A construction worker is a person who builds houses, he does interior remodeling, floors, bathrooms, walls, kitchens, celling, etc. He wakes up every morning at 6 a.m., then he goes to Lowe's, and Home Depot to buy all the things that he needs to do his job that day. Every time he is done with his job that is when he gets paid. He has a good reference from his clients because of his excellent job and great responsibility ethics. He is always doing his job with helpers, but he doesn't let them do the
jobs that they don't know how to do because he is a perfectionist at his job.

wind tech
I picked to do a wind tech for my interview and i found out some really interesting things about a wind tech. Wind Tech's fixes whatever is wrong with the Wind Mills because they produce electricity and we need electricity. The tools that you need to do a Wind Tech's job is Renches which the Renches that he or she needs is Tork, and Hydrolic. More tools that he/she needs is heavy cranes, electric tools, tools that measure electricity, electricity, and Gloves. The person i interviewed has been working at their job for 7-8 years so they have been there quite a while. When they are on call they are on call every other week. How often they get paid is every two weeks. The certain thing that they love about their job is that they get to work outdoors. I asked how could people benefit from their job and the answer they gave me was they produce energy that produces electricity for Houses, Businesses, Communities, and Cities. The work hours are from 7 am until the machines are fixed. They have to work with one partner so that in case anything happens to them their partner can be there. I asked about safety hazareds and soon learned that everything is a safety hazard at their jobs, the things that are safety hazards are parts blowing up, high voltage electricity, hights (300 Ft in air) cranes, and moving parts. The advice that they would give a new begginer is be careful and do everything slow and pay attention because you could die at any minute. Only one lunch break is what they get. The dress code that they have is FR clothes, ( Electrical Resistant Clotes) Steel toe boots, safety glasses, and gloves. Only one vacation is given to them a year. The concern that they have is that someone could get killed or hurt. Two bosses are assigned to the two partners who work together. Well i learned a lot about Wind Tech, things that i sure didn't know that helped me and now hopefully these things will help you also if you want to become a Wind Tech.
Thank you so much,
Ar'Letha M.
